Data Validation allows you to pull data from one sheet into another, and then sort it with a drop down menu. It allows you to quickly and easily view data.

How to use?
PATH: Data >> Validation
Mention the cell range where you want the data to be validated
Select type of validation: List from a range, List of items, Number, Text, Date, Custom formula, Tick box
You can pick up the drop down values from a particular range in the sheet
You can either allow or not allow to mention contents in the drop down
If someone mentions a different item which is not present in the drop down, you can also Show a warning
